Matar Raita

A mix of green fresh peas and yogurt. A sprinkle of garam masala adds flavor to it.

Serving 4-6 persons

Preparation Time: 25 minutes

 

Ingredients

2 CupsYogurt
1 CupWater
0.5 CupGreen Peas
1 TablespoonFinely Chopped Green Coriander leaves
1 TablespoonFinely Chopped Green Chillies
1 TeaspoonGaram Masala
1 TeaspoonSalt
1 TeaspoonGaram Masala

 

Method

  1. In a Pan take water and 1 tea spoon of salt and add green peas to it. Now boil them for 10 minutes. Drain them on paper towel and keep them aside to cool down.

  2. In a bowl add water and yogurt and mix them smooth.

  3. Now Mash the green peas in a another bowl.

  4. Now Mix mashed green peas , green coriander leaves, and green chillies to the yogurt and mix it well.

  5. Sprinkle it with garam masala and serve it with curry or dry vegetable of your choice.
