Makki Ki Roti

Pan baked Indian Bread made from corn flour

Serving 2-4 persons

Preparation Time: 15 minutes

Cooking Time: 45 minutes



4 CupsCorn Flour
Hot Water



  1. In a large pan or skillet take corn flour kneed it with hot water. Add water little by little. Dough should not be too soft.

  2. Make equal size of balls triple the size of ping pong balls.

  3. Use plastic paper if you are not able to make it with hand or on round Indian chakkala.

  4. Heat griddle. Now take one ball of dough dust it with dry flour. press it in between of your palms transfer it to the plastic paper on flat surface. Now flat the dough with your palm by pressing it on the plastic paper.

  5. Now transfer this roti to the griddle cook it from both the sides. Rub some butter on it and serve it hot with Saag or Punjabi Kaddi
