White rice cooked with vegetables and spices

|2 Cups||Basmati Rice|
|1 ||Diced Carrot|
|1 Cup||Green Peas|
|1 Cup||Cauliflower Diced in small Florets|
|1 Medium||Sized Onion Cut length Wise|
|1 Large||Diced Tomato|
|1 Teaspoon||Diced Green Chillies|
|1 Teaspoon||Chopped Garlic or Garlic Paste|
|1 Teaspoon||Finely Chopped Ginger or Ginger Paste|
|1 Teaspoon||Cumin Powder|
|1 Teaspoon||Turmeric Powder (Haldi) Optional|
|1 Tablespoon||Coriander Powder|
| ||Salt To Taste|
|4 Tablespoons||Cooking Oil (Of Your Choice)|
In a large Skillet or frying pan add oil and heat the oil. Add Cumin seeds and fry till cumin change color.
Add onions and fry till onions turns golden add ginger, garlic and green chilies fry it for 1 minute and add diced tomatoes to it. Add turmeric, cumin powder, coriander powder and salt to it.
Add all the vegetables and cook it for 2 minutes keep the lid on. Add Rice and 2.5 cup of water and cook it on medium flame .
When the rice are done serve them hot with yogurt and salad.
