Moong Sprouts ki Bhaji

Sprouted Moong Beans with with mashed potatoes

Serving 4-6 persons

Preparation Time: 10 minutes

Cooking Time: 15 minutes



1 CupMung Sprouts
3 LargeBoiled Potatoes
1 LargeFinely Chopped Onion
2 TablespoonTomato Paste
1 TeaspoonGinger Paste
1 TeaspoonGarlic Paste
2 Finely Chopped Green Chillies
0.5 CupCooking Oil

Dry Spices

1 TeaspoonCumin Seeds/ Zeera
1 TeaspoonTurmeric Powder/ Haldi
1 TeaspoonGaram Masala
1 TeaspoonCoriander Powder
Salt To Taste



  1. Peel potatoes and dice them in small cubes.

  2. Heat oil in an frying pan and add cumin seeds to it fry them for 1 minute and add onions to it. Fry them till they turn golden brown and then add green chillies, garlic and ginger paste to it.Fry it for 1 minute.

  3. Add Tomato paste to it fry it till it oil separates out. Now add half cup of water and cook it for 1 minute.

  4. Add Bean sprouts to it mix it well. Cover the pan with lid and cook it for 5 minutes.

  5. Now add potatoes to it. Add some more warm water as potatoes will sock it quickly.

  6. Cook it for another 2-3 minutes while stirring it .

  7. Serve it hot with chapatti or parantha.
