Aam Ki Chutney Masale Walli

Spicy Mango Chutney

Serving 20 persons

2 PoundLarge size Mango
0.5 CupSalt
1 CupsSugar/ Jaggery
4 TablespoonsVinegar
10 Cloves
5 Cinnamon Sticks broken in Pieces
4 Crushes Black Cardamom
3 TablespoonsFenugreek Seeds/ Methi Dana
2 TablespoonsOnion Seeds/ Kalounji
2 GramsCarom Seeds/ Ajwain
4 TablespoonsMustard Oil
2 TablespoonsFennel Seeds
2 TablespoonsChilli Powder



  1. Wash and dry mangoes. Now grate them in a grater.

  2. In a large skillet heat oil. Add hing, cloves, cinnamon sticks, Cardamom fry them for 1 minute then add Fenugreek seeds, fennel seeds, onion seeds, chilli powder carom seeds and vinegar to it.

  3. Now add grated mangoes sugar and salt. Cook it for 10 minutes at medium flame.

  4. Store it in a dry and air tight jar. This chutney is ready to be served with your choice of any dish.

You can also add Dates, Coconut chunks and raisins to it. It enhances the taste of the chutney.
