Carrot Raita

A healthy easy and quick to make yogurt mix with grated carrots

Serving 4-6 persons

Preparation Time: 10 minutes



1 MediumSize Carrot
1.5 CupsPlain Yogurt
1 TablespoonFinely Chopped Green Chillies
2 TablespoonFinely Chopped Green Coriander
1 TeaspoonGaram Masala



  1. Wash peel and grate carrot.

  2. In a large bowl add yogurt and one cup of water mix it to smooth. It should not be too thick or water thin. Add more water if required.

  3. Now add green chillies and coriander leaves to it. Sprinkle it with garam masala and serve it with any curry or vegitable.

In raita I do not recommend to add salt as when it served people add it to their taste and choice.
