Khoprey Ki Chutney

Coconut Chutney

Serving 6-8 persons

Preparation Time: 15 minutes

Cooking Time: 5 minutes



1 Fresh Coconut
2 TablespoonsChana Dal / Horse Gram
6 Cury Leaves
1 TablespoonMustard Seeds
2 Green Chillies
2 TablespoonsCoriander Leaves
1 TablespoonOil
Salt To Taste



  1. Soak chana dal for 1 hour.

  2. In a Blender grind coconut, green chillies, chana dal and coriander leaves.

  3. In a pan heat oil add mustard seeds and Cury leaves and fry it. When mustard seeds starts crackling add grounded coconut paste to it add salt and mix it well .

  4. Add 2 tablespoons of water. if it gets thick add more water to your own choice of consistency.Cook it for 1-2 minutes at medium flame.

  5. Cool It and serve it with your choice of any dish.
