Tasty Yogurt mix with Onions and spices

Serving 4-6 persons

2 CupsYogurt
1 LargeOnion Cut length Wise
1 TablespoonGinger Paste
1 TeaspoonGarlic Paste
1 TablespoonFinely Chopped Green Chillies
3 TablespoonsCooking Oil

Dry Spices

1 TeaspoonCumin Seeds
1 TeaspoonFenugreek Seeds
4 Whole Red Chillies
1 TeaspoonCoriander Powder
1 TeaspoonGaram Masala
1 TeaspoonTurmeric Powder
Salt To Taste

For Garnishing

2 TablespoonFinely Chopped Coriander Powder



  1. In a bowl Add yogurt and mix it with and salt. Now add 1 cup of water and mix it well. It should be little thicker then butter Milk or lassi.

  2. In a pan heat Oil add cumin seeds, mustard seeds and Red Chillies to it. When they turn brown ass onions and fry them till they turn golden brown.

  3. Then add ginger paste, garlic paste and green chillies. Fry it for 2 minutes then add coriander powder, turmeric and garam masala fry it for another one minute.

  4. Then add Yogurt mix and stir it well for 30 seconds and remove it from the flame.

  5. Top it with coriander leaves and serve it Makki ki roti or rice.
