Mix Vegetable Pakora

Fried mixed vegetable fritter in Gram flour

Serving 2-3 persons

Preparation Time: 5 minutes

Cooking Time: 10-15 minutes

 

Ingredients

1 MediumBoiled and Mashed Potato
1 MediumFinely Chopped Onion
0.5 CupGrated Cauliflower
0.5 CupBoiled Green Peas
0.5 CupShredded Carrot
1 TablespoonGinger Paste
0.5 TablespoonGarlic Paste
2 Finely Chopped Green Chillies
1 TeaspoonCoriander Powder
1 TeaspoonGaram Masala
1 TablespoonFinely Chopped Coriander leaves
1 TeaspoonMango Powder (Optional)
1 TablespoonCooking Oil
Salt to Taste

Batter

1.5 CupBesan (Gram Flour)
1 TeaspoonRed Chili Powder
1 TeaspoonKasoori Methi (optional)
2 CupsOil to fry the pakoras
Salt to Taste

 

Method

  1. In a Frying pan heat 1 table spoon of oil and add onions and cook them for 1 minute now add rest of the ingredients from table one and cook them for 5 minutes. Remove them from the flame and let the mixture cool down to handle.

  2. Now in a bowl add besan, red chili, kasoori methi salt and make batter with water. Make sure that the batter is not too runny or too thick.

  3. Now Heat a oil in an frying pan. Drop a little of batter if it comes up right away that means oil is perfect.

  4. Now make small balls from the mix veg mixture and dip it in the besan batter and drop them in to the frying pan in batches do not over crowd the frying pan.

  5. Fry them on medium high flame.

  6. When they are all done serve them with imly (Tamarind) ki chutney and puddiney (Mint) ki chutney.
