Tofu Chilli

Tofu and Bell Pepper with spicy curry

Serving 4-6 persons

1 PoundBell Pepper
1.5 CupExtra Firm Toffu Diced in Cubes
1 MediumOnion Cut length Wise
2 TablespoonTomato Paste
1 MediumDiced Fresh Tomato
2 Finely Chopped Green Chillies
1 TeaspoonGinger Paste
1 TeaspoonGarlic Paste
1 TablespoonHot Sauce
1 TeaspoonSoya Sauce
1 TablespoonLemon Juice
0.5 CupOil

Dry Spices

1 TeaspoonCumin Powder
1 TeaspoonCoriander Powder
1 TeaspoonRed Chili Powder
Salt To Taste
1 TeaspoonSugar/ Jaggery



  1. Wash and cut bell pepper in cubes.

  2. In an large skillet heat oil. Add Onions to it and fry them till they tender now add ginger garlic and green chillies to it .

  3. Add salt, cumin powder, chilli powder and coriander powder to it fry it for 1 minute now add tomato paste.

  4. Fry it for 1 minute and add bell pepper add little water cover it and cook it for 5-7 minutes.

  5. Stir it occasionally. Now add diced fresh tomatoes to it. Mix them add hot sauce, soya sauce, lemon juice and sugar to it mix it well.

  6. Add tofu to it mix it well so tofu get coated well with the spices cook it for another 1 minute and remove it from the flame.

  7. Serve it hot with fried rice.

You can adjust the amount of chilli you desire.
