Mushroom Matar Patta Gobhi

Mushrooms, Green Peas and Cabbage in this tasty spicy dish

Serving 4-6 persons

1 SmallCabbage (Patta Gobhi)
1 CupMushroom
1 CupMatar
1 LargeFinely Diced Onion
1 TeaspoonGinger Paste
1 TeaspoonGarlic Paste
Green Chilli Paste to taste
2 TablespoonTomato Paste
0.5 CupCooking Oil

Dry Spices

1 TeaspoonCumin Seeds/ Zeera
1 TeaspoonGaram Masala
1 TeaspoonCoriander Powder
1 TeaspoonTurmeric Powder (Haldi)
Salt to Taste


0.5 CupFinely Chopped Green Onion



  1. Dice Cabbage in small pieces and keep it aside. Wash mushrooms and dice them in four pieces and keep them aside.

  2. In a Frying Pan Heat the oil and add whole cumin. When it starts crackling ass onions and cook them until they turn golden brown.2

  3. Now add ginger, garlic, and green chili paste cook it for 1 minute and add all the dry masala one by one.

  4. Now add tomato paste and cook the masala till it leaves the oil. Then add cabbage , mushroom and green pees one by one and add 1/2 cup of water.

  5. Now cook it for 10-15 minutes at medium high flame.

  6. When it is done garnish it with green coriander leaves and serve it with chapatti or Pranthas.
